Alameda Hospital is a leader in providing emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and wellness services to the Alameda community and Alameda County at large.  Comprehensive services include cardiology, 24-hour lab services, advanced diagnostic imaging, surgery, and occupational, speech, and physical therapy.  Alameda Hospital is also the site for a basic-level emergency department and certified stroke program. 

Within the hospital campus is a 35-bed SubAcute Unit serving long-term residents with brain injuries or neurological impairment due to injury or disease, many of whom are ventilator-dependent.
